  • Hard copy of completed, signed Swedish customs forms
  • Clear copy of the photo page of shipper’s passport
  • Proof that shipper is moving to Sweden (copy of resident or work permit, proof of Swedish residence)
  • Proof you will be registered in the Swedish ‘Population
  • Register’ (Tax) or if already registered then a copy of the ‘personbevis’
  • Confirmation from employer of employment in Sweden and abroad

Importing Vehicles

The below documents will be required for a UK resident to import a vehicle to Sweden from the UK:

  • Registration certificate
  • Proof of purchase/sales invoice

  • Proof importer is moving to Sweden (e.g. proof of residence, resident or work permit)

With both the documents required to import a vehicle and those needed to import personal effects, all documents will be checked by a customs agent. Effects and vehicles can only be shipped upon ‘greenlight’ being given by customs agent that customs clearance can take place.
