The Alan Cook Removals & Storage team have been carefully moving and storing people’s belongings for over 40 years and during this time, we’ve pretty much seen and done it all!
Since the business was taken over by Andy Oven in 2008, we’ve rapidly grown to the size we are today, without compromising on the level of care we give to every customer. We now operate out of four locations; Norwich, Loddon, Lowestoft, and Gorleston.
In May 2018 Alan Cook Removals joined the Britannia Movers International Co-operative covering the Norfolk & Suffolk area. This opportunity has allowed us to offer a greater national coverage but still provide our local expertise and give our personal service to every move. We have now fully merged to become Britannia Alan Cook. As part of this partnership, we can provide more competitive prices for long distance and overseas relocations. It also gives us greater flexibility for customers relocating to the Norfolk & Suffolk area too.
In 2023, an updated new look has been created for our branding – we hope your like it! This reflects our status as national, international, and commercial moving professionals, and demonstrates that at our core, we are still a family-run local moving company offering friendliness and care towards our customers and team members.
We are working hard to roll this branding out by bringing all uniforms, packing materials, signage, stationary and online resources up to speed, along with our large fleet of vehicles – which is quite a task! As sustainability is highly important to us, we would prefer to use old stock instead of materials going to waste, so the transition will be gradual.
None of this would be possible without having the right team in place and we’re proud to say our staff are experienced, knowledgeable, and above all friendly. Nothing is too much trouble and we’ll always go that extra mile to make sure your experience is one to remember.
