In advance of your effects being shipped, a copy of the photo page of shipper’s passport will be required.
If shipper is not a Canadian resident/has a Canadian passport then a copy of shipper’s visa or work permit will be required.

Importing Vehicles
As a general rule, importing a used/second hand vehicle is usually prohibited, however there can be occasions where Canadian customs will grant permission.
In the event of a vehicle being able to be imported into Canada, then along with the same documents that are required to import personal effects, a proof of ownership, a previous registration and insurance document would be required.
All vehicles will be inspected before they are customs cleared and will need to conform to Canadian standards before they are licensed. Cars are dutiable and importer will be required to attend customs in person for the clearance. More detailed information on the whole process of importing a car can be provided upon request.
Moving Pets
Pets that meet certain requirements and from countries not at high-risk of rabies can usually be imported into Canada. A pet moving specialist will be able to provide more information on what pets can be imported and what the requirements would be to import a pet into Canada.

General information about the country and what it is known for
Canada is the second largest country in the world after Russia, however, it has the fourth lowest population density. There are a large population of Polar Bears in Canada, especially in a place called Churchill, where there is a similar population of humans and polar bears. There are so many Polar Bears that Churchill is also known as the ‘Polar Bear Capital of the World’. Unruly Polar Bears can end up spending a few days in polar bear jail or the ‘Polar Bear Holding Facility’ to give the building it’s official name.
Canadians are well known for generally being very apologetic and they have been somewhat teased in some quarters for saying sorry too much. Canadian’s have such penchant for saying sorry, that there is an Apology Act in Canadian law. One of the objectives of the Apology Act is to protect someone who may have said sorry, in an almost automatic reaction for an incident that they are not liable or at fault for. The law states that the act of apologising or saying sorry to someone cannot necessarily be taken as an admission of guilt by that person.
